I Gotta Bike!!

Yay! Check out my new bike its so cool! I found it on craigs list, I got a really good deal on it. So I have decided that I need a change in scenery, I'm tired of the whole gym routine. I thought it would be more fun if I got a bike and started going down the bike trails. I think it would be way more fun especially since the weather is cooling off. I love the out doors anyways, the trees, the animals, the sky.. I really think this is going to be awesome. I do hope I can find Ski a bike as well it would be fun to have a partner, infact it could be a fun family outting. He can bring his 2 daughters, I'm sure they would love it too! I'm excited :)

Texas Weather... Gotta Love It

I dont get Texas weather! How can our weather go from a beautiful morning to a ugly afternoon. One minute its nice and sunny and then the next minute rainy and cloudy! Makes me mad! And why is it that the weather man predicts 20% chance of rain.. and that 20% chance of rain ends up being a whole freakin day of rain? So I guess you know what happens when he predicts 100% chance of rain... Yup.. not a cloud in the sky nor a rain drop to be found. I'm not sure if its the weather men not knowing what the heck they are doing.. or if its just that Texas' weather is totally unpredict able. Its hard to plan out door events here in Texas, wonder if its like that everywhere?? GEEEZZZZ! Texas Weather... Gotta Love It!

Whoa! The Telescope Has Shown Me A Whole New World...

I've always enjoyed observing the sky; the sun, the clouds, the moon, the stars... I think the sky is one of the most beautiful things in the world that God has blessed us with. Sometimes when i have a bad day I sit outside and just take a deep breath and I just look up at the clouds and try to figure out what object each cloud looks like, or if its dark i just watch the stars twinkle. For some reason the sky just makes me feel better I just really appreciate its beauty. I love the colorful sunsets, and I love the dark stary nights; and I love the moon, especially when it appears at different colors, or when it looks huge and close to the earth. I've always wanted a telescope, so that i could get a closer view of the things that i am unable to see just by the naked eye. Telescopes are just so expensive and really not in my budget right now... Well at least thats what i thought, but then i got a bright idea, I went to the Craigs List website and I found one for $25. It may not be the best one, but its perfect for me, I freakin love it!! Just when I thought the stars and the moon couldn't possibly get any better.. the telescope showed me a whole new world. Its really amazing how goregous it is up there! The best damn $25. I've ever spent! I've found another new hobby! Actually this always has been a hobby, I just never took the time to pursue it. So glad I did!

Weekend Fun....

I've heard of the man in the moon.. but the man (men) in the tree. lol! These things crack me up. I went to a kids bday party over the weekend and there in the tree i seen these faces, soo funny haha! When I get a house I'm definitely getting some of these guys :)

The kids had a blast on the slide! Man, sometimes I wish I could be a kid again, they have so many cool things now days. Me and my brother would have had a blast on this thing!

And then there was Mr. Lizard. I know he's hard to see, I was too scared to get close to him. I hate lizards, they scare me! He is really long and bright green, just thinking about him gives me goose bumps! Yuck!

This is how I feel about Mr. Lizard and Nasty Roaches (especially the flying roaches OMG!), they are sooo gross and creepy! I wished they didnt exist! SICK!

Ski and the kids taking a dip in the pool to cool off! This summer is sizzling, it is sooo blazing hot outside. I dont even like laying out and working on my tan because I dont want to sweat my booty off! I am so ready for fall; thats one of my favorite times of the year because its not too hot or too cold, its the perfect weather!

New Years Resolutions... So Far So Good!

So i just wanted to point out that ive almost met all my new years resolutions. 1) I took a real vacation and went to Vegas. 2) Ive read 2 books (which neither or them were really impressive) 3) I have started eating a whole lot better and have lost so far 16 pounds. 4) I found a new hobby, gardening i really do enjoy it. 5) I've sort of gotten myself on a budget, I stopped eating out so much (which has help save money and makes me eat healthier), I've cut way back on going out and partying, and I have stopped shopping whenever i get bored. So all i have left is that gym thing... 3 times a week.. man thats alot! hehehe! I'm gonna give it a shot, starting Monday I will go to the gym hopefully i dont passout! lol! im so out of shape.

She's Finally Here... Baby Jade!!

My friend Stink (Cristina) finally had her baby! She is so pretty, her name is Jade and I have to say she is sooo cute ~she takes after her auntie christi~ hehe! ;-) It's really weird to see her, she has Stinks mouth it is sooo funny! She makes funny faces just like her mom! haha! makes me laugh. I love her so much, its so amazing to look at Jade and see some of Stink's features.. I dont really know how to put it into words its such a weird feeling to see a mini stink. Im so happy shes here shes going to be alot of fun, especially if she has her mama's personality. lol I cant wait until she starts crawling and walking and talking!

Weekend at the Lake..

The lake was awesome. My Mom, Dad, Brother, his Girl friend, Ski and his kids, and I all stayed in this nice size cabin. It was really relaxing, but man was it HOT!!! The heat there is different than what I'm use to here its more drier not as humid, not that thats a bad thing but it was just hard to adjust too. The lake was down about 10 feet due to lack of rain... so the fish werent biting we only caught little ones, definitely not big enough to keep. I got to see my grandparents, they are getting so old; makes me sad. I would really like to spend more time with them, i love them so much. We seen a couple of deer, some roadrunners (those suckers are fast), turtles, and Ski seen a snake (it scared the crap out of him. hahaha!) My parents were able to get to know Ski and his kids, which made me happy because they are a big part of my life and I want them to be a big part of my family as well. That was kind of the whole purpose of the trip for me, was to really get Ski and his kids acquainted with my family. It turned out great they all loved each other and got along really well. It was really a nice little get away, the only bad thing that happened was.. we all got sick! ha! It was worth it though!

He Knows How To Make Me Smile :)

So cute! Ski always knows how to make me smile. He sent me this adorable little flower arrangement to work. Just looking at it makes me smile. He is such a sweetheart, he really made my day!

Take A Trip To The Lake...

I just finished planning a 4 day trip in July to Lake Whitney, we are staying at a resort. My Parents, Brother, Ski, and I are all going. I havent been to the lake in years, I really love to fish, its going to be so relaxing. Plus my grandparents live close by there, so I get to go visit them as well. I haven't been on vacation with my parents in forever. This will give my Parents and Ski a chance to really spend time together and get to know each other, So this little get away will be a good thing for all of us. The resort has Kayaks that you can rent, I'm definitely renting one I think it will be so awesome! The cabins are really cute, some of them have full kitchens. I think my parents will probably get the one with the kitchen, no need for us all to have kitchens because we will all be eating and hanging out together. I seriously can't wait!

Beautiful Yellow DayLilies...

I love these flowers, they are called Daylilies. I think they are absolutely beautiful. I bought them over the weekend and put them on my patio. I really hope i don't kill them ha!!

Had A Blast In Vegas!!

We stayed at New York New York on the 36th Floor.. It was really a fabulous Hotel! The picture on the right is the view from our hotel room, there was a huge roller coaster at the hotel!!

We seen the water show at the Bellagio... which was absolutely amazing! I loved it!!!

We rode on the Gondola... the man sings to you. So romantic, we kissed under the bridge which is a tradition.


We went to the wax museum! I was amazed on how life like the wax figures looked.

We watched "O" which is the water Cirus Du Soleil! Ski really was impressed... he loved the show! It was really cool!

We gambled.. As you can see I lost. We went to Dick's they made Ski a funny hat that has a kitty face on it and says WHIPPED! ha! We did alot of site seeing... We had a blast! Cant wait to visit again

My Weekend of Gardening... So Fun!!!

I'm so excited my strawberries are doing so good!! A couple of them were actually big enough for me to pick and eat, and they were very sweet! Yay! And then I noticed... I have a baby jalapeno growing too!! Its soo cute. hehe!! I planted some herbs (Sage, Thyme, and Basil) I'm not sure if I can grow them or not but I'm gonna try, hopefully I'm successful.... I think I finally found a new hobby!!




I also got a new rug this weekend from Low's I got a great deal on it!! I couldnt pass it up! I've been looking for a rug for a long time but they are just so expensive, so when I seen this one on sale I jumped on it! I really like it.

Our 1 Year Anniversary Weekend...

This past Sunday (April 26th) was mine and Ski's 1 year anniversary. Friday, we went to the Astros Game with a couple of friends, the weather was horrible it poured down rain, but our seats were soooo good it was hard to pass up. We had DugOut seats right behind home plate... it was really awesome. Of course we lost, but I'm still a fan. LOL. I got the cutest monkey from the gift shop, i really love it!!!! Super Cute! After the game we went to a bar downtown it use to be called the Irsh Pub but now they changed the name to Molly's. I had a lot of fun, havent been downtown in a long time. Saturday, Ski had to work late so I went out with my friend Lisa.. that girl is crazy she makes me laugh!! I like hanging out with her she is so funny. Sunday, was our actual anniversary.. Ski came over, he bought me beautiful pink roses and a really sweet card, and we went to Gringos for dinner. He is so awesome I'm so lucky to have him in my life! After dinner we went looking for me a car.. since I still dont know whats going on with my car and the whole insurance thing, I thought it would be a good idea to get prepared in case my car does total out. (Even if it doesn't I'll probably still trade it in) I'm still am pretty set on the Nissan Maxima, they are super nice cars. I dunno it gives me a headache thinking about it, I hate spending a whole day at a dealership just to buy a car... the process is so long. Oh well. The weekend went by sooo fast, but it was a good weekend, and I enjoyed it. I cant believe its already been a year, and I still love Ski more than ever. It really makes me excited because I found the person that I want to spend the rest of my life with!

Admin Day!!!

I received flowers today for Admin Day from my boss!! How sweet, I was really shocked! They are really beautiful, the picture really doesnt do them justice. They also brought breakfast from Panera.. Yummmy!

Its nice when people show their appreciation, it makes me appreciate them as well, and really earn my respect. Just goes to show you; acknowledging people for their hard work, can really make someones day.

Flooded Streets And Little Cars Don't Mix..

Yup... just my freakin luck! It rained soooo bad over the weekend the streets were flooded.. as you can see my car (350 z) is very low to the ground (Im sure you get the picture) my car got flooded out. So now I have to wait for the insurance company to decided if they want to fix it or total it. Im kind of hoping it totals because for one I dont want a flooded car, and for two I really want a new car. I was looking at the Maxima- Wow! I really love that car, its super nice and has so much more room than my two seater. I miss having a back seat. Who knows, maybe this flood actually turns out to be a blessing for me.

Gettting To Know Mary..

This past weekend I had a really good time, I hung out with my boyfriends mom Mary and the grandkids'. It was really cool, I learned alot about Mary that I really didnt know before. She is such a sweet and caring person, and a very hard worker! I really did enjoy myself and I think she did too. Anyhow thought I'd share some pictures...

Good Ole Stink...

This is "Stink" we've been friends since 2nd grade.. 20 loong looong years. She is one of a kind, extreamly silly. I dont know why this popped up into my mind... but just thinking about it cracks me up. haha! You see Stink does not have naturally straight hair- her hair is very very curly. Well one day Stink decided she was sick and tired of her curly hair and wanted to get it permanently straightened. So she made an appointment at this hair salon... Well it took about 2 hours to put the straightner solution in her hair, and another hour and a half to let it process. Finally it was time to wash her hair, blow dry and style. It looked great wet... but once it was dried her hair looked like a box her hair was shaped like Sponge Bob.. It was horrible. Man i wished I had a picture. Needless to say she hated it and the only way they could fix it was by perming her hair and making it back curly again. By that time I was starving so I left went to my house made Stink, the Hair Stylist, and myself some sandwhiches (I knew it was gonna be a long day) and took the food up to the salon. It took 385 rollers (5 and a half hours of perming her wig) me sitting and waiting and reading magazines, for her to get the same exact curly hair back. It was crazy. All that time at a salon for her to come out looking the exact same way as she did when she walked in. It was the funniest thing. That poor stylist... she worked her butt off for nothing.. Thank God the Chi was discovered. Yup! Good ole Stink- Gotta love her!

Houston Astros

April 6th- Astros vs Cubs! (Cubs- Boooooo!!) We are going to the game its going to be alot of FUN!! Ski got us tickets today ~Oh Yes.. Ski Rox!~ Astros are gonna kick some A$$!!

Letting Go Is Never Easy..

Monday morning on my way to work I got a call from my mom. Its never a good sign when she calls me that early, i knew something was wrong. She told me my uncle was found dead; he died in his sleep. I was in shock, I couldn't believe it (actually I still can't believe it) my favorite uncle- the one who damn near raised me.. hes gone. I am really devistated about the loss, although I havent cried; it really hurts like hell! I know I have to be strong for my aunt (his wife) she is taking it very hard. I pray God mends her broken heart, and gives her a peace of mind, and strength to pull her life back together. The funeral is this Friday and I'm very nervous, I hope I can continue to be strong because my family needs me and counts on me for support. Im really going to miss him, I'm going to miss him so so much, "Letting Go Is Never Easy" its heartbreaking. I keep thinking to myself; Man! he was so young to lose his life, and that really scares me. It makes me want to go and experience life; all that i can. It makes me want to eat healthier and exercise more. It makes me want to stop stressing because stress kills. It makes me want to enjoy spending time with my friends and love ones. It makes me want to stop taking life for granted!! I know everyone's days are numbered here on earth, I want to live life before my life is over. I want be an inspiration to others. When I die I want to be remembered for the good things I've done and the fun times I've shared with people.

WE'RE GOING TO VEGAS!!

Im soooo excited!!! Ski and I have bought our tickets for..... VEGAS!!! We are going this May I can not wait, I know we're gonna have a blast! We are staying at NY NY hotel; from what I hear its a great location on the strip. Finally I'm taking a real vacation! (That was one of my new years resolutions) hehe! I keep looking at lasvegas.com, I like to read about all the different shows, clubs, and events Las Vegas offers, there's just sooo much to do. We both deserve this trip, and I'm so looking forward to it. We're going to have so much fun!
